Leadership in the eSports player ranking scene stemmed from a passion project I started back in 2016, OrionRank. OrionRank’s growth and recognition over the years led to sponsor interest, Luminosity Gaming, to support the project.
The algorithms utilized were developed with Python and SQL, and have been automated to take data from smashdata.gg to score players using parameters established by a set ranking criteria.
